Software Engineer

QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, passionate QA Engineer to lead in increasing software quality across the board at iFactory. You will work with software engineers, project managers, HTML production, designers, and sales to define, enforce, and automate high quality output and improve our QA tools, process, and knowledge. This is a great opportunity for a capable and driven person to affect change and help create something beautiful.
Requirements:
- An almost unreasonable passion for quality
- Deep understanding of QA process, both manual and automated
- Experience with a wide range of tools from home-grown to well-known for testing software and web applications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce documentation such as test plans. Experience writing specifications/business requirements a plus.
- Experience writing automated tests with tools like JUnit, TestNG, Selenium/WebDriver, EasyMock, etc
- Knowledge of multiple languages (Java required) and the ability to learn quickly

Project Manager / Producer

Front-End Web Developer/Engineer
We are looking for a talented front-end web developer to join us.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Translate design mockups into (X)HTML/HTML5 pages.
- Update and maintain websites for a number of our clients.
Required skills:
- Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and modern website layout/interface techniques.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and image optimization for web.
- Able to hand code in a non-WYSIWYG environment.
- Able to code CSS/(X)HTML which validates against current Web Standards.

Interactive Designer

- Develop site architectures—including sitemaps, wireframes, storyboards and/or HTML prototypes as needed
- Develop the look-and-feel and overall visual design of projects - create mockups in Photoshop
- Translate design mockups to HTML-coded pages

Skills
- Strong concept development and graphic design ability

Information Architect / User Experience

System Administrator

Responsibility includes administration of our internal, development and remotely hosted systems. Required Skills
- At least 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- EXPERT knowledge of server administration for Linux

Responsibilities
Work closely with Marketing Manager to augment existing iFactory social media outlets to attract more followers, increase visibility, drive more traffic to our websites and blog, and strengthen the iFactory brand. Maintain an online presence for the agency and its followers by providing a steady stream of content across established accounts including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the company's blog.
Requirements
Must be a currently-enrolled college student local to the greater Boston area. Candidate should have personal accounts set up on the above networks, and likewise have proven experience with building and maintaining a network of followers.
