Here are just a few examples of our work in healthcare and lifesciences:

MGH Institute of Health Professions : Website Redesign

Challenge: The MGH Institute of Health Professions needed a new website that compelled prospective student visitors to inquire, and ultimately apply to one of the Institute's academic program. Specifically, the site needed to present crucial information in 21st century formats useful to and usable by students and prospective students, as well as attract alumni and friends to support the Institute.

Solution: By engaging stakeholders and current students, and organizing the site in a user-centric way, iFactory made it easier for end users to find the information they were seeking, especially taking into account the very specific focus of prospective students for each program. One big improvement involved building a dynamic curriculum module for each specialty of each degree program, so prospects could get an accurate (and up-to-date) idea of what courses they'd be taking (with an easy-to-use administration module for the Institute to keep this data up to date). Another, was a tool to quickly drill down into the specific application procedures for each program and degree, since prospects typically are only looking at one program and are not concerned about the application procedures for programs and degrees that do not apply to them.
