Here are just a few examples from our portfolio of non-profit projects:
Boston Museum of Science
Partnership: iFactory has served the Museum of Science since 1992. In addition to numerous kiosk projects, iFactory recently completed work on the Museum’s Quest for Immortality / Ancient Egypt website launch. Our team helped the educators at MOS by writing content, gathering images, producing multimedia activities and launching the entire site in under five weeks — just in time for the spectacular Quest exhibit!
iFactory is also proud to be completing the soon-to-be-launched ShellFactory interactive website and kiosk, where kids can use our algorithm-driven shell growing engine to create their own fantasy shells.

Arnold Arboretum
The Arnold Arboretum was interested in redesigning their website in order to convey more about the Arboretum offerings, make the website easier for researchers and visitors to navigate, and for the research community to find the content and features they were most interested in. In addition to redesigning the architecture and look and feel of the website, iFactory worked with the Arboretum to create the Interactive Map currently featured on the homepage. In a prior engagement, iFactory built the online functionality for the Arboretum's quarterly magazine, Arnoldia, which contains articles on plant science, ecology and conservation, parks and open spaces, landscape design, history and reports on the growth and development of the Arboretum's collections, plant introductions, and botanical explorations. The Arnoldia archives date back to the early 1900's.
Ford Foundation
Partnership: Since 2001, iFactory has served the Ford Foundation in their mission to strengthen democratic values, reduce poverty and injustice, promote international cooperation and advance human achievement.
We assisted Ford with refining their mission statement for online usage and in launching a new .org website with a greatly refined user-interface and look-and-feel.
Our partnership continues with ongoing support for their site and with a variety of editorial systems soon to be launched.
Lincoln Institute of Land Policy
Partnership: For over three years we’ve worked with Lincoln to help advance their mission to study and teach land policy, land economics and land taxation.
Our first project resulted in a redesign and relaunch of the LILP website which resulted in dramatically improved download numbers for Lincoln’s online information.
We are excited to be working on a variety of infrastructure and interactive learning initiatives for the institute.
