THE CHALLENGE
Growing Demand, Limited Resources
San Jacinto College, home to over 70,000 students, needed a flexible website design system to highlight their innovative programs, top rankings, and strong student support. They were looking for a comprehensive solution to manage a high volume of new content, from organizing and interviewing to writing and editing. The challenge was to create a seamless, efficient workflow with a small team and a tight timeline.

OUR APPROACH
A Seamless Content Workflow
We crafted a fresh, futuristic design highlighting programs, career paths, and common student questions. Our innovative “career tracks” infographic system visually maps out how certificates and degrees can stack up to help students achieve their goals.
We also developed a streamlined content workflow with clear roles and processes, making the most of our resources while ensuring high-quality content. This workflow included writing, multiple expert reviews, CMS entry, image selection, and SEO.
When I have worked with vendors in the past, I feel like they are working for us and not alongside of us. IFactory has such integrity across their entire team. It is just comforting to know that we are in good hands.

Creating a Scalable Higher Education Website Experience
For San Jacinto College, the website redesign needed to do more than improve the look and feel of the site. It had to support a large, complex institution with thousands of pages, diverse student audiences, and a growing need for clear, accessible program information.
iFactory combined higher education website strategy, UX design, content writing, and SEO to create a more flexible digital experience in Modern Campus CMS. The new site places greater emphasis on academic programs, career pathways, student questions, and the information prospective students need when evaluating their options.
A major part of the project was building a repeatable content production process that could scale. More than 375 webpages were written, edited, reviewed, optimized, and entered into the CMS using a coordinated workflow designed to maintain consistency and quality across the site.
The result is a higher education website built to support both student decision-making and the long-term needs of the institution’s digital team.
