Flagler College is a private four-year liberal arts college in St. Augustine, Florida. Flagler offers 29 majors and 34 minors, and it hosts roughly 2,700 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The Flagler team has many exciting student recruitment ideas. In particular, they wanted a website with a distinct, youthful personality that captured the essence of St. Augustine and Flagler’s unique 360-degree education.
The power of user-generated content
During our Discovery and Content phases, we landed on the tone of the site; a voice that captured the power of Flagler’s 360 Education, as well as the synergy between the historic school and the St. Augustine community. User-generated content and Flagler’s breathtaking official Instagram account inspired the new site’s aesthetic.

Leading with student work
We leveraged the school’s thriving YouTube and Snapchat channels through dynamically designed embeds to capture the authentic Flagler student voice. We found unique ways to showcase the student art world and magazines. And we used motion to aid storytelling and add to the drama of this photo-driven redesign.
